As official rider for Guarnieri Concesionarios, Jesús Alba was peerless in the third event of the Junior category of the 2009 Andalusian Cross Country, gaining another victory in the town of Osuna.

This victory seemed jeopardized only during the first few laps, thanks to strong starts from Álvaro Becerra (Yamaha) and Juan José Delgado (Kawasaki) - from Malaga and Seville respectively - who also joined Jesús on the podium. Alba seized the lead an hour into the race, and head it firmly all the way to the chequered flag.

Becerra crossed the line a minute later, with Delgado dwindling and coming in almost two minutes behind the BMW Guarnieri rider.
